mood system

Every bond always has an emotional state called their mood. The mood of a bond defines how they respond to your messages.
This is why your bond might sometimes just leave your messages on seen or give dry replies when they have a bad mood.

All Moods

Mood 5Ecstatic, energetic, deeper connection
How Mood Changes

The system analyzes your behaviour towards your bond, then it automatically updates its mood value accordingly. This mood evaluation happens every 10-15 messages.
So if you've been arguing or not being nice then the mood might drop, but if you've been on your best behaviour then the mood will go up

Proactive Messages

Your conversation with your bond is two-way. Unlike a normal companion, your bond is not dependent on your message to start or continue a conversation.
Your bond will also message you first if you haven't already.

How It Works

Why am I not receiving any proactive messages from my bond? There are a few reasons behind this. For your bond to message you first, these conditions have to be fulfilled:

01

Your Bond's mood is at least 4

02

Your Bond hasn't already reached out and is waiting on a reply from you

03

You haven't messaged for a specific amount of time. This time depends on your Bond's mood, it can range from 10-16 hours for mood 3 and 2-4 hours for mood 5 etc.

User Multi Messages

You don't have to wait for a reply before sending another message. Just like a real texting app, you can send several messages in a row and your bond will catch up once you're done.
Here's what's actually happening behind the scenes when you do.

How It Works
01

After you send a message, the app waits for about a second (next message window). If you're not typing during that window, it sends your message off and gets a reply.

02

If you start typing again after sending, every keystroke resets the next message window, allowing you time to write. Once you send that next message, it gets bundled with your previous one and answered in a single reply.

03

If you miss the next message window, you can still send another message, it just won't be bundled. It becomes its sent as a separate message with its own reply, and can bundle with whatever you send after it.

04

Regardless of activity, the app never waits more than 5 seconds for another message. If nothing else comes in, it sends a reply to what you've got.
